Hiking the Pueblos Mancomunacados was EPIC! Being immersed in the villages, welcomed by the locals and learning about their way of life AND experiencing it hands on was incredible. I highly recommend adding on a trek to the Acatenango Volcano which was challenging but gave us a close-up view of the active and majestic Fuego Volcano. If you’re looking for a vegan-friendly hiking adventure in the extraordinary country of Costa Rica, look no further than Vegan Adventure Holiday’s 10 day trek on El Camino de Costa Rica. You will be challenged by multiple mountain crossings, ankle-deep muddy lush jungles, heat and humidity but equally rewarded with spectacular views, stunning wildlife, supportive and friendly Ticos, and the best hiking colleagues you could ever hope for. The Guatemala trek was the perfect combination of hiking, culture, food, and bonding with like-minded vegan adventurers. The trip schedule was planned with balance, challenge, and down-time, and Emma’s commitment to community building and vegan values inspired confidence and purpose along the way.
